Who We Are The Juneau Ski Patrol is comprised of about 25 volunteers in our coastal Southeast Alaska community, providing support to Eaglecrest, "The Best Little Ski Area in the World."  The Juneau Ski Patrol is an affiliate of the National Ski Patrol, and our members are certified in Outdoor Emergency Care, and many are also EMTs.  A high level of training and continuing education helps us promote a safer environment for skiers, snowboarders, and the outdoor recreation community.  The patrol provides training in first aid, patrol related skiing, toboggan handling, lift evacuation, and avalanche education.  Our primary objectives are to ensure fun, safe skiing/snowboarding at Eaglecrest, and to provide emergency care and transport if things go awry.
