Ste. 202 (please contact Ron Dippold rmdjun@aol.com or phone 789-9361 to reserve your space):  Oct. 4 Tuesday Oct. 10 Monday  Nov. 6 - Lift Evacuation Refresher on the mountain Nov. 10-11-12  Juneau Ski Sale @ Centennial Hall  (59th Annual - more info + sign-ups at www.juneauskisale.org)  2011 Avalanche Refresher on the mountain TBA Eaglecrest opening day scheduled for Dec. 3, but it always depends on snow!  More info soon at www.skijuneau.com Eaglecrest Special Events are available at www.skijuneau.com Instructions for volunteer patrol sign-up calendar:  It is very helpful for staff and training scheduling if the JSP volunteers can sign up ahead of time.  1)  Just click on the highlighted link at the top of any page on this website, and you’ll go to a Google Calendar.   (If you have your own Google mail open, the browser will want to open up your OWN calendar, so see Note below to fix that....) 2)    The user name and password are regularly distributed in email.  If you can't find a copy, or just recently joined patrol, contact either Mick Lowry 789-5658 (miclow@gci.net) or one of the webmasters for login info; Pat Dryer (dryerwp@gmail.com), John Wilcock 463-4498 (jawilcock@gci.net). 3)    Just click on the date and time you wish to sign up for and enter your name in the little box that appears for “event.”  If you are signing up to volunteer in the First Aid Room on the mountain, please enter your name, then “Aid Room” and which shift you plan to be there, ie, AM, PM 4)    Please be sure to click “sign out” at the top right hand corner of the Google Calendar.  Then click “back” and “OK” until it takes you back to the Juneau Ski Patrol website, or just exit your internet browser.   Solution if you have your personal gmail open at the same time you are on the JSP web calendar....   1.  Close your own gmail for a minute, and go to the Juneau Ski Patrol web page & click on the sign up calendar. 2.  On the left hand side of the page, down near the bottom of the panel, click the Settings link, then select the Juneau Ski Patrol calendar. 3.  Enter your e-mail address in the Add Person field. 4.  Select a level of permission from the drop-down, then click Add. 5.  Be sure to click on SAVE at the bottom.   Close out of the Juneau Ski Patrol Google Calendar and re-open your own gmail, you'll have a confirmation e-mail and will now have permission to sign in without a conflict and be able to access the ski patrol sign-up calendar directly. That’s it – piece o’ cake!  See you on the mountain!
